Darisuren is the Chief Executive Officer of GerHub.
Prior to joining GerHub, Darisuren worked at an urban conservation program at the Nature Conservancy, working with diverse communities in 25 cities across North America. Darisuren holds a B.A. in Biology, Society and Environment with a minor in Public Health from the University of Minnesota, USA.
Darisuren is a nature lover and loves to explore new places to preserve and make green spaces accessible to more people. She likes spending her free time hiking with her dog.
Chief Executive Officer
Nicole is a Princeton in Asia fellow working as the Business Development Lead at GerHub. Nicole graduated from George Washington University in 2021 with a BBA in Sport, Event, and Hospitality Management and Marketing.
Following graduation, Nicole led event management at Immigrant Food in Washington, DC before traveling to Songdo, South Korea to teach English. Raised in Honolulu, Hawai’i, Nicole grew up valuing community and connection between both the familiar and unfamiliar. She aspires to work in the sustainable tourism sector in order to foster empathy and connection between local communities and tourists. In her free time, Nicole adores spending time with her friends and family, reading fantasy novels, and swimming wherever she can.
Business Development Lead
Anujin works as Project Assistant for various programs at GerHub to ensure their successful operations and impact.
Anujin graduated from the George Washington University in 2022 with a BA in International Affairs and concentration in international development. She has prior experience working in international and government organizations based in Ulaanbaatar as well as experience documenting the local narratives of nomadic communities in Mongolia through reporting and photography.
Anujin enjoys reading, taking photos, traveling the countryside, and learning about world history and current affairs in her free time.
Project Assistant
Saskia is a volunteer at GerHub. She focuses on M&E, impact reports, proposal writing, and the management and support of research projects. Saskia previously worked as researcher in the humanities and social sciences, with a focus on historical demography. She also has experience working in consultancy, and worked for the Brussels Statistics Office in Belgium, where she focused on housing statistics.
After too many lockdowns, she was drawn to new adventures and landed in Mongolia. Saskia holds a PhD in history from the University of Leiden, The Netherlands (2009), an MA in Classics and an MSc in Statistics for the Social Sciences (2018).
She loves digging into new topics and satisfy her curiosity about the world surrounding us. During her free time, she enjoys being out in nature, reading, working on DIY-projects – from sewing to painting to baking – and exploring Mongolian culture.
Volunteer
Temuulen works as the Program Lead at GerHub, focusing on data findings on ger areas, which are not often readily available in Mongolia.
Temuulen graduated from the National University of Mongolia with a major in urban and regional planning. Due to her background in urban planning Temuulen is deeply involved in UNAA, a Ger Area Transportation Trial (GATT) project in partnership with University College London (UCL). She joined GerHub after completing a semester abroad in the US as a finalist in the Global UGRAD Exchange Program by the Department of State.
When not going around on research assignments, Temuulen likes to read and write. She also appreciates nature and its energy and likes going on road trips, hiking and spending time in nature with her friends and family.
Program Lead
Munkhnasan works as the Finance and Administration Lead at GerHub, overseeing all financial matters to ensure the smooth running of the organization. She actively participates in all projects implemented at GerHub, with a particular focus on overseeing the financial aspects.
Munkhnasan holds a BA in Geology from the National University of Mongolia and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Finance and Economics. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and hiking.
Finance & Administration Lead
Davaajargal works as the Community Manager of Ger Innovation Hub – our community space. While enjoying all aspects of working with the community, she finds helping the children with their personal development to be the most meaningful.
Davaajargal graduated as a Line Artist from the Mongolian State University of Culture and Arts. As a professional artist, she organised several exhibitions with her friends.
Davaajargal enjoys spending time with her children as much as she loves to create art. When not managing at Ger Innovation Hub, she loves to spend her spare time teaching children art lessons at daycare centres.
Community Manager
Yerdigul is a Project Intern at Gerhub, exploring her future career in educational policy. As an imaginative person, she enjoys data storytelling, ensuring good insight and communication, and is currently taking data related courses to enhance her skills.
Prior to joining Gerhub, Yerdigul worked at Nepko Kids, a children’s book publisher, where she contributed to creating books and libraries. This experience provided the opportunity to participate in Gerhub’s Design Studio Program, setting the stage for her current role at Gerhub.
In her free time, Yerdigul stays updated on upcoming art events and regularly attends the Puppet Theater and Geren’s Picture book club. She has a passion for exploring cultural and ecological influences in classic fairy tales.
Project Intern
Kusha is GerHub’s Creative Content Lead and Brick Designer for Gerude, Education for Innovation Program at GerHub. As a brick enthusiast, Kusha teaches the GerHub team how to incorporate play to work while designing architectural and urban planning models.
Kusha previously worked as a freelance 3D artist and graphic designer in the local creative industry. He studied architecture at the University of Science and Technology, Mongolia.
When not designing with bricks, Кusha is passionate about skateboarding and is one of the founding members of Uukhai, the Skateboarding Association of Mongolia. Kusha, with the other Uukhai members, is working to build the first indoor skatepark in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
Creative Content Lead
Munkhjiguur works as a Project Manager at GerHub. She cooperate the Program Lead and teams to ensure successful operation and implementation of projects and programs under the Education and Social Innovation pillars of GerHub.
Prior to joining GerHub, Munkhjiguur worked on international development projects, especially focusing on empowering women and youth. She likes to keep up with the current social and political developments, as she believes in the importance of educated citizens. She holds a BA in International Relations from the National University of Mongolia.
Munkhjiguur enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as immersing herself in history books and documentaries.
Project Manager
Enkhpurev works as Project Assistant at GerHub. He works on GerHub’s Education for Innovation Program – Gerude, and Carbon Offseting project.
Enkhpurev recently graduated from university. Prior to joining GerHub, he completed an internship at an engineering company in Viken, Norway.
Enkhpurev is an individual with a keen enthusiasm for sports, consistently cheering for his favorite teams, including the Oklahoma City Thunder, Liverpool F.C., and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Project Assistant
Enkhjin is the co-founder of GerHub. Prior to joining the board, she worked as the CEO of the organization.
Previously, Enkhjin worked at Zorig Foundation, leading several projects in various fields such as education, environment, and community development. Enkhjin holds a Master’s degree in International Planning from University College London, UK, and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Whitman College, US.
When not working her mind for GerHub, she can be found in a studio recording music or at a film set producing documentaries and short films. Enkhjin is also a co-host of the Felt City podcast, a popular local Urban Development podcast discussing urban development issues of Ulaanbaatar.

Baigalmaa is a strategy professional with an extensive background in the finance and mining industry, passionate about finding optimal solutions to complex problems and creating shared value.
Currently, she works as a Senior Manager of Transformation & Business Improvement at Oyu Tolgoi (OT) LLC. As part of her role, she manages a team of professionals that develop and implement Business Improvement strategies and programs aimed at increasing OT’s capability to continuously improve its performance to achieve world-class productivity and performance culture.
Previous to this role, Baigalmaa had over 10 years of global career with Rio Tinto in management consulting, shareholder negotiations, strategy, business, and socio-economic analysis.
Baigalmaa holds an MBA degree in Finance, Competitive and Organizational Strategy from the University of Rochester and a BBA in Operational Management from the National University of Mongolia.
Board Member
Nemuun is a Vice-Principal and Guidance Counselor at Hobby School of Ulaanbaatar – one of the preeminent independent schools in Mongolia. At Hobby, he coaches some of Mongolia’s finest high school debaters and guides the high school students on their path to college.
Before switching to the education sector, Nemuun held the top in-house legal positions at SouthGobi Sands LLC – a leading Mongolian coal miner, and Newcom Group – one of the largest investment companies in Mongolia. Nemuun also has over seven years of work experience with the Mongolian civil service. He worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and was posted as a diplomat with the Permanent Mission of Mongolia to the United Nations in charge of political and legal affairs.
Nemuun holds law degrees from the MGIMO University in Moscow and the Columbia Law School in the City of New York (LL.M.). At Columbia, he was the Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, Bretzfelder International Law Scholar for 2008-2009, and LL.M. Class Speaker ‘09. He is a member of the bar of the State of New York since June 2010.
Chairman
Tamir is a Mongolia country director of the Lorinet Foundation, a philanthropic foundation focused on improving education and employment outcomes of the children and youth. His previous experiences include leading and management of the large-scale infrastructure projects in both public and private sectors.
Tamir is also passionate about advancement of the project management skills of youth. In addition to his previous role of serving as a board member of the Project Management Institute Mongolia Chapter, he actively facilitates pro-bono project management workshops for youth-focused nonprofits.
Tamir is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) and holds Bachelor of Laws in Diplomacy from China Foreign Affairs University.
Board Member
Badruun Gardi is co-founder of GerHub. He is a social innovator, creative strategist, and educator.
He is also founder of the newly established New Nomad Institute, a research and action institute that aims to uncover the enduring knowledge of nomadic societies and apply those learnings towards addressing the climate crisis, particularly in the areas of climate migration and adaptation. Nomadic pastoralists have a unique and close relationship to nature, land, and other living beings. Positioned at the crossroads of research and education, the Institute tackles challenges spanning individual to national scales. The Institute’s initial research focus is on nomadism in Mongolia, where nearly a third of the population still maintains a traditional nomadic pastoralist way of life.
Passionate about nurturing the next generation of creative problem solvers, Badruun devotes significant time working with youth through teaching and mentorship. He is currently teaching Stanford University Structured Liberal Education’s pilot hybrid course on moral philosophy at a high school in Ulaanbaatar.
A lifelong fan of film and the performing arts, Badruun was previously creative executive at Salmira Productions, a company that develops, finances, and produces thought- provoking and conversation-catalyzing projects in film, theater, television, and podcasts.
Badruun is a member of the Climate Migration Council and serves on the boards of Arts Council of Mongolia, Mongolia Education Initiative, and Smart Air Mongolia. He is a former trustee of The Asia Foundation. Badruun was selected as a 2022 Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. As a 2023 Loeb Fellow, he spent an academic year in residence at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Badruun holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and communication from Stanford University.
