Uurtsaikh Sangi works as the Program Director/Ger Area Transformation for GerHub. She is primarily in charge of the design and implementation of a vast majority of GerHub’s programs and projects.
She previously worked in multi-disciplinary development programs in Mongolia in the areas ranging from business enabling environment and policy to water supply in ger areas and ger insulation. Uurtsaikh was part of the management team of Chemonics International Inc., WDC, US, in two impactful projects, funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in Mongolia. She serves as the Chair of Governing Board at a spun-off institution, established by one of the USAID-funded projects.
Uurtsaikh holds a BA in English from the University of Humanities in Mongolia, a MA in International Relations (major in development) and a MPA from Maxwell School, Syracuse University, NY, US.
